Security Officer Part Time Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response protocols appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned spaces to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts, assist with crowd and line management, and address unauthorized access or disruptive behavior.
• Complete routine reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or hazards observed during patrols, and communicate relevant security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.
