Security Officer Part Time Patrol

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related systems, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service. Your professional presence and clear communication will help support a secure, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a healthcare facility front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Greet patients, visitors, staff, and vendors; verify access permissions and direct individuals to appropriate departments or waiting areas.
• Monitor entry activity, visitor sign-in processes, and access-control systems; report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly, welcoming front-desk environment while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

$18.15 / Hour

Schedule

• Monday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tuesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM
