Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with site representatives, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, incidents, and operational needs.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
