Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery verification in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while helping to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
