Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, campus, and/or perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, access control activity, and visitor movement in support of location protocols within a technology-focused environment.
• Aid in reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel according to site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
