Security Officer Part Time Patrol Alarm Response

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Tuscaloosa, AL. This role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while communicating with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required
• Be at least 18 years of age (unarmed role)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
• A guard card or license is preferred
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Schedule: Day Time, Friday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Saturday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
