About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, greeting visitors, and documenting activity. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
- Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates, docks, and other designated access points; communicate access concerns and irregular activity to appropriate site contacts.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading zones, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Requirements
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Thursday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Friday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
