Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution location, including parking areas, building perimeters, loading docks, and trailer areas.
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel.
• Report unusual activity, damaged property, and potential hazards to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Skills

• Access Control/Badge Experience: familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.
• Alarm Panel Experience: knowledge of alarm monitoring, troubleshooting, and responding to alarm events.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet: proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks, including navigating software applications, managing emails, and utilizing digital communication tools.
• Customer Service Experience: strong customer service skills, including handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a positive customer experience in a professional setting.
