Security Officer Part Time Overnight Patrol

About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced cosmetics manufacturing location in Sanford, NC. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, document security-related activity, and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and vendor entry activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Pay
$11.00 / Hour
Schedule
- Day shift: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM (Saturday)
- Night shift: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM (Sunday)
