Security Officer Part Time Overnight Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Computer Assisted Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, laboratories, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and report unauthorized activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and patrol findings in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.10 / Hour

• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
