Security Officer part time overnight

Responsibilities

• Patrols property, inside and out during all shifts
• Checks doors and stairwells to ensure they are secure
• Responds to complaints and calls for help
• Purchases, maintains, and monitors security cameras and alarm systems
• Escorts unruly patrons and loiterers from the property
• Aids in securing taxis for inebriated guests
• Fills out reports at the end of each shift
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years in a Security role
• High School education preferred, with post-high school education and/or Peace Officer training preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
• Authoritative verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
• Knowledge of the property layout and buildings
