Security Officer Part Time Overnight

About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Desk in Mebane, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support loss prevention and closing or opening procedures as assigned, including observing high-traffic areas and assisting with crowd management during busy shopping periods or special events.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
