Security Officer Part Time Mobile Patrol Driver

About the role
As a Part-Time Mobile Patrol Driver Security Officer in Shakopee, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and the business perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, or maintenance issues.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials when assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership, site personnel, and responding agencies.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$21.60 / hour
Schedule
- Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
