Security Officer Part Time Mobile Patrol

About the role

Apart from providing security-related procedures and responding to incidents, you will also conduct regular and random patrols, monitor access points, and support day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Maintain awareness of changing conditions across the location and communicate with site contacts.
• Prepare incident reports and support day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
