Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to the location by observing visitor activity, checking credentials when required, and reporting suspicious behavior in accordance with site procedures.
- Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with staff and visitors, and following post orders for daily operations and incident response.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
- Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses may be required prior to employment.
Skills
- Security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
