Security Officer Part Time - Manufacturing Facility

As a Part-Time Security Officer at a manufacturing facility in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service at a professional corporate location. You will use technology to document security-related information, communicate clearly with visitors and employees, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$21.15 per hour

Schedule

Part-time overnight shifts:

• Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
