As a Security Officer Part Time Loss Prevention in San Marcos, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Pay
$20.17 per hour
Schedule
Fixed shift: Friday, 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM (DayTime). This assignment requires a six-month commitment to the designated site and weekly shift (“Anchor Shifts”). In addition, you may pick up extra shifts through the Claim-A-Shift scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a luxury retail location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of sales floors, entrances, stock areas, fitting rooms, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter theft-related incidents.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, following site procedures for employee, vendor, and delivery access.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
