Security Officer Part Time Incident Management

About the role

As a Security Officer in a luxury retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with shoppers, staff, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and retail staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter, while reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of security-related systems in accordance with site procedures.
• Help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior through a professional presence and timely reporting to site leadership and/or emergency services.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.84 / Hour

Schedule

• Thursday: 11:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Friday: 12:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM - 09:00 PM
