About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Identity Verification in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and team members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and manage visitor and vendor entry in accordance with location procedures.
  • Observe entrances, exits, employee areas, and restricted spaces to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting relevant activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter, noting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations.

Requirements

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Access control and/or badge experience.
