Security Officer - Part Time Identity Verification

Position Type: Part‑Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to construction personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas of the location.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Help deter unauthorized access by observing activity at gates, entrances, and restricted areas and reporting suspicious or unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, the business, and perimeter, as site conditions and construction operations permit.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

$27.14 per hour

Schedule

Daytime – Saturday 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM; Sunday 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
