About the role

As a Part-Time Identity Document Screener in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. This driving post offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service while helping to deter incidents through a professional, visible presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and government location policies.
• Screen individuals, packages, and belongings in accordance with established screening procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor entry points and identify prohibited or unauthorized items, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
