As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment while responding to security-related needs with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and access-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, staff, and vendors in accordance with facility procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Guard card is required.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour. Schedule: Daytime, Friday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Saturday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM.
