Security Officer Part Time Hospital Driver Patrol

As a Part‑Time Security Officer (Unarmed) at a healthcare location in Warrensville Heights, OH, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff, and deliver exceptional customer service while contributing to Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity‑driven team culture. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and the ability to claim additional shifts via the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and facility information, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site‑specific requirements.

Requirements

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
