Security Officer Part Time Hospital Deescalation

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access control procedures, and reporting of unusual conditions.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a morgue.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
