Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, assisting with access control practices, visitor interactions, and other security-related duties aligned with site expectations.
- Support a professional environment by reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and policy concerns, while following post orders and Allied Universal standards.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Posses a valid drivers license for more than 1 year.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
