Security Officer Part Time Gatehouse

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic food and beverage location in Wilson, NC. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule, allowing you to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food production location, including exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Customer service experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Pay

$14.35 / hour

• Thursday: 11:59 PM - 08:00 AM
