Security Officer Part Time Front Desk Security

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will serve as a welcoming presence, manage visitor access, monitor entry activity, and support security-related procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to maintain an organized environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Serve as a front desk point of contact by greeting visitors, verifying access requirements, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and visitor sign-in processes to help deter unauthorized entry and support a professional workplace environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.14 / hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
