Security Officer Part Time Front Desk Reception

As a Part-Time Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location in Harrisburg, PA, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will serve as a professional, approachable presence while helping to deter security-related incidents through clear communication and attention to detail. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk and manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity and escalate concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general building information, and coordinate with property management, tenants, and emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (qualified applicants with criminal histories considered consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.36 per hour

Schedule

Part-time. Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
