Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Reception

About the role
As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence for tenants, visitors, and vendors. You will manage access, assist with inquiries, monitor security-related activity, and communicate professionally to help support a secure environment. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records.
- Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from a stationary front desk post; report unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
- Support building operations by answering phones, directing guests, receiving deliveries, and communicating professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
