Security Officer Part Time Front Desk

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help support a professional, secure environment by responding to security-related concerns and maintaining a visible presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, front-desk policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Welcome visitors, verify identification and appointments, manage visitor access procedures, and maintain accurate entry records in accordance with location requirements.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, and authorized personnel.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting emergency services and/or site contacts as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.36 / hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
