Responsibilities
- Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
- Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
- Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
- Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
- Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
- Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
- Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Made emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
Qualifications (must have)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have one (1) year of security experience
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be willing and able to travel one hour or more to assigned work locations
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs
Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Must have a valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
- Must be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Must be reliable and able to adapt to different post assignments
- Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Must be able to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Must have demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Must have effective oral and written communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly, and accurately
- Must have active listening and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately
- Must be able to mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy
- Must have demonstrated teamwork skills
- Must have attention to detail
Skills
- Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic) is preferred
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred

Pay
$22.38 per hour
Schedule
Open availability required across all days and shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
