About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report observations in alignment with Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture and commitment to integrity and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of financial institution offices, common areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, and assist with maintaining orderly access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
- Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.
Requirements
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$20.95 - $21.95 / Hour
Schedule
- Monday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
