Security Officer Part Time Entry Desk

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a residential location, you will serve as a welcoming, reliable presence for residents and visitors. You will manage access, monitor activity, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor the front desk area, greet and screen visitors, verify authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Answer phones, receive deliveries, manage package notifications, and direct residents and visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain awareness of building entry points and lobby activity to help deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming residential environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
