Position Details

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Schedule: Daytime, Wednesday 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Sunday 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive facility.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, issue temporary badges, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit in accordance with site procedures, including documenting deliveries, shipments, and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
