Security Officer Part Time Entry Control Driver

As a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced Entry Control Driver in Boaz, AL, you’ll have a fixed base schedule with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts for increased earnings and varied experience.

This role requires a six-month commitment to a designated site and weekly shift, with the option to scale hours up to 40 per week or adjust as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Control access to the manufacturing location by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and following visitor and contractor check-in procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, notifying appropriate contacts or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, or facility conditions.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, incident reports, and shift documentation per site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (required for this driving position).
• At least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$12.00 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime Shift: Thursday, 6:30 PM – 5:00 AM (fixed anchor shift).

Additional shifts available via the Claim-A-Shift program for flexible hours.
