As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor and manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas of the manufacturing location.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, production support areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or access concerns.
• Document incidents, access exceptions, and shift activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required in the state where the job is located (essential for driving responsibilities).
• Minimum of one year of relevant security experience (must be outlined in resume and discussed in interview).

Skills

• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
