Security Officer - Part Time Entry Clerk

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening visitors, vendors, and/or contractors, and directing people to the appropriate entry points within the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, badge activity, and/or visitor logs to help support authorized access and report unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access denials, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry areas, shipping and receiving points, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Assist with security-related documentation, badge issuance, key control, and/or incident reporting to help support daily operations in a manufacturing and industrial setting.

Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
