Security Officer Part Time Entry

About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Entry Inspector in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and team members while following security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or belongings at designated entry and exit points in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor entrances and exits, verify authorization when required, and help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating appropriate emergency response activities.
• Document screening activity, policy violations, and unusual incidents, and promptly communicate findings to designated location personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.

Skills

• Security-related experience.
• Customer service experience.
