Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence halls, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary across the campus.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established campus procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and other security‑related observations.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of security‑related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal driver policy; must be recognized in Pennsylvania (job state).
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law.
• Valid CPR certification (free training
