Security Officer Part Time Driver Patrol Support

This role is based in Memphis, TN and provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts.

Pay

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime shift: Monday 05:00 AM – 05:00 PM.

Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): a designated site and weekly shift for a six‑month period.

Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time one week and full‑time the next, up to 40 hours per week, with the ability to scale back as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site‑specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions) in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
