Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and tenants. Position details
- Position Type: Part Time
- Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour
- Schedule: Wednesday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Sunday 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or client representatives by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking facilities, exterior perimeters, and tenant spaces as directed.
- Assist with access control, monitor entrances and exits, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership, local law enforcement, emergency responders, and/or site management as needed.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
