About the Role

As a Part‑Time Security Officer / Driver Patrol in Johnstown, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as commercial real estate. The position involves unarmed vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and documenting events according to site requirements.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state and local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
