About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for access, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating with appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or access-control concerns.
- Assist with maintaining an orderly, professional environment while following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
