Security Officer - Part Time Driver

About the Role

As a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Patrol Site Inspection in Lockport, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. This role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$18.00 / Hour

• Monday: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Tuesday: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
