Security Officer Part Time Downtown

About the Role

As a Security Officer Part Time in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence and communication with site representatives.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $18.70 / Hour

Schedule

Day Time: Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
