Security Officer Part Time DoD Security Clearance Patrol

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture by working collaboratively, responding professionally, and acting with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining awareness of visitor, employee, and contractor activity.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$21.04 / hour
Schedule
- Friday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Saturday: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
