Security Officer Part Time DoD Secret Clearance

About the role
As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will contribute to a welcoming environment through attentive service, teamwork, and integrity while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Monitor access to restricted areas by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$21.84 / hour

- Day shift: Saturday 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
- Day shift: Sunday 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
