Security Officer Part Time Deterrence Patrol

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, team-focused culture. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarm activations, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established reporting channels.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, loading areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, incidents, and requests for assistance.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$18.73 - $19.73 / hour
Schedule
- Friday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
