Security Officer Part Time Deterrence Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location in Claude, TX, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production or distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, storage areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs for visitors, contractors, deliveries, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Observe and report conditions that may impact facility operations, personnel, products, or property, and complete clear, timely incident and daily activity reports.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
