Security Officer Part Time Day Shift Patrol

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic retail and dining location in Battleboro, NC, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, disturbances, medical situations, and/or unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the restaurant, surrounding retail location, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrols, and notable observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age (18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$14.00 / hour

Schedule

• Part-time
• Day shifts on Saturday and Sunday: 09:00 AM - 09:00 PM
